Deesweetdrug is a renowned Thai pop artist whose illustrations draw inspiration from the enchanting stories and artistry found on yantra cloths, an integral part of Thai culture since ancient times. He takes popular yantra patterns, including the signature five-row yantra of Ajarn Noo Kanpai, and transforms them into unique contemporary art under Ajarn Noo's close supervision. Each piece has been consecrated by Ajarn Noo Kanpai and is presented as a series of digital prints featuring four contemporary designs. This collaboration marks the first time Deesweetdrug has teamed up with Ajarn Noo Kanpai, a world-renowned artist and master of yantra tattooing and sacred objects, known for bringing Thai beliefs to the international stage by tattooing celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. In this project, Ajarn Noo Kanpai reveals a fresh, modern persona, moving away from his previous image as a sorcerer.
